GLR STORY

WE HAVE BEEN SIM RACING SINCE 1996. ALL THE WAY BACK TO THE ORIGINAL NASCAR RACING BY PAPYRUS. THROUGH THE YEARS WE HAVE COMPETED IN MANY LEAGUES AND EVEN LAN EVENTS.

IN MARCH OF 2021, WE CAME UP WITH THE IDEA TO FORM A LEAGUE THAT WAS GEARED TOWARDS SUPPORTING VETERANS AND FIRST RESPONDERS.

FOR TWO YEARS, GLR WAS FULLY FUNDED BY PATRICK AND JAMIE. PARTICIPATION REMAINED FREE FOR MEMBERS.

WE USED OUR TWITCH STREAM TO HOST FUNDRAISING BROADCASTS FOR VETERAN NONPROFITS. WE DONATED OVER $2500 TO TRACKS4VETS AND VETERANS 48.

IN SEPTEMBER 2023, WE OFFICIALLY BECAME RECOGNIZED AS A 501(c)(3) NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION BY THE IRS.

THE GLR EFFORTS HAVE EXPANDED. DONATED SIM RACING SETUP TO A VETERAN, EXPANDED SERIES IN IRACING, AND A MOBILE SIMULATOR TO ENGAGE WITH THE PUBLIC.
